学习英语就是一个积累的过程，所以从现在开始就要慢慢积累。也许明年的这个时候，我就可以告诉大家，我可以应付老外了。（呵呵，要求不高，能应付就可以）

很好、很漂亮、很棒该怎么说？

1. That's cool!

任何时候对他人表现表示赞同或赞美都可以使用"That's cool!" 或是简单说成 "Cool!"。比如：

别人说，"We're going to win the  championship this year." (我们今年要拿冠军了。)你可以很大声说回答"Cool!"

"He is a cool guy."不是说这个人很酷，而是说这个人很好。所以这里的"Cool!"和我们每天用的人很酷"酷!"是不一样的！

2. Neat!

和"Cool!"是一样的。

neat stuff 和cool stuff都是说很好的东西。比如"I've just bought some cool stuff." (我刚买了一些很棒的东西.)

3. good/great/wonderful/terrific/Awesome/Excellent/incredible

这就是“好/更好/更更好/更更好/更更好/更更好/更更更好（难以置信）”J

下面的例子能说明这些词的不同：主持人和 call-in 进来听众间的对话。 主持人先问， "How are you today?" 听众答, "I am just good." 主持人不太满意， "Just good?" 于是那人就赶紧改口说，"I am great." 没想到主持人还是不满意继续咄咄逼人说，"Just great?" 那人没办法只好说，"I am wonderful." 这时主持人才算真正满意。

4. She's so pretty! / Gorgeous!

Pretty 和 beautiful 都是用来形容「美丽、漂亮」的人时很常用到的词，但pretty 只能用于形容人和状态 (situation), 并不能像 beautiful 还可以用来修饰风景。

虽然 pretty/beautiful 也作“美丽、漂亮”解释, 但在程度上 gorgeous 比 beautiful 跟 pretty 还要再漂亮一些。例如小美女的话我们就可以说， "She's pretty." 但是大美女的话就可以说 "She's gorgeous." 但是 gorgeous 可不限于美女专用！ 老美也常会用 gorgeous 来形容美男. 例如，"Her brother is gorgeous. We all like him." (她的哥哥长得很好看，我们都很喜欢他。)

“超级大美女”要怎么说？ 英文里有一个字叫 drop-dead gorgeous.  意思是说这种美女会让你看到之后，会让你因为惊艳而“昏倒”。

再来段笑话（English Joke)：

Bill Clinton and his driver were cruising along a country road one night when all of a sudden they hit a pig, killing it instantly. Bill told his driver to go up to the farmhouse and explain to the owners what had happened.

About 1 hour later Bill sees his driver staggering back to the car with a bottle of wine in one hand, a cigar in the other and his clothes all ripped and torn. "What happened to you", asked Bill. "Well, the Farmer gave me the wine, his wife gave me the Cigar and his 19 year old daughter made mad passionate love to me." "My God, what did you tell them", asks Clinton. The driver replies, "I'm Bill Clinton's driver, and I just killed the pig".
